PREPARED CHILDBIRTH CLASS

This class is a six week course to be completed approximately 4-6 weeks before> the baby's due date. The course covers Lamaze breathing and techniques, recognizing the warning signs of labor, all stages of labor and delivery, possible complications, and physical and emotional preparation for the mother and her support person. A film on birth and a slide tour of the labor and delivery suite are also included. A $49.95 fee is due at the time of registration.

BREAST FEEDING CLASS

This course reviews the most current information regarding breastfeeding. This same class is included in the Prepared Childbirth Class. This course is offered at no cost to all expecting mothers.

SIBLING CLASS

This fun class is designed to help the older sibling prepare for the changes that the birth of another child brings and to help make the expectant sibling feel part of this happy event. The class is scheduled for approximately 1 hour and is designed for ages 3 to 8 years of age. A $5.00 fee per family is due at the time of registration.
